Pyramids and Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum

We visit the Giza Plateau to stand in the shadow of brilliance. There are many theories of why the pyramids were built. However, all agree that the precision of the ancient Egyptian stone masonry is equivalent to modern optical work. The newly opened GEM, Grand Egyptian Museum, is the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization. We learn about the Egyptian creation myths and how the many trinities of gods may have played a role in the Christian trinity.
